The Sample Company offers commuter benefit accounts that can help employees pay for eligible out-of-pocket transit and parking expenses with pre-tax dollars through payroll deductions.

• Qualified Transit Account:
• This account is used to reimburse qualified out-of-pocket transit expenses, including passes, commuter highway vehicle, railroads, suburban and local commuter passenger expenses for ferries, buses, and other transportation services as part of your daily commute to and from work.
• Account balances may be carried over to the following month.
• Qualified Parking Account:
• The Qualified Parking Account is used to reimburse qualified expenses related to automobile parking lots and garages as part of your daily commute to work.
• Account balances may be carried over to the following month.
